As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all fixed assets and mobile equipment, including engines, chassis, production, storage and blending equipment to assure safe, reliable, and cost-effective use. Other duties include:
- Repair and maintain all company vehicles to assure safe and reliable use.
- Maintain all vehicle maintenance records to assure timely maintenance of vehicles
- Perform basic repairs and complete routine maintenance on engines (both gas and diesel), chassis and heavy vehicles.
- Vehicle inspections, parts purchasing, inventory receipts and assist in inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain all vehicle maintenance records to assure timely maintenance of vehicles
- Maintain safe working conditions and assure that all crew members and others on the site follow all safety and regulatory procedures and practices to ensure a safe and successful event.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions to protect personal safety and safety of others.
- Previous work experience as a mechanic.
- Mechanical or trade school is a plus.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to communicate in writing and verbally.
- Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid drivers license
