Mechanic Helper

Obsidian Chemical Solutions, LLC has an immediate opening for a Mechanic Helper working directly beside our mechanic.

Job Description:

The Mechanic Helper assists mechanics with preventative maintenance and repair of equipment, vehicles, and machinery. Responsibilities and tasks may include but are not limited to the following:

- Repair vehicles and equipment, including repairing 18 Wheeler Tires

- Pick up Parts from Vendors

- Clean and maintain shop equipment and tools.

- Maintain and monitor parts and inventories.

- Operate various hand tools

- Check batteries and fluid levels in equipment and replace or replenish as needed.

- Conduct preventative maintenance as scheduled or directed and maintain appropriate records.

- Requirements:

- Valid Driver's License

- Own tools preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
