The employee will be responsible for performing assembly procedures, reworks, test and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components of oilfield equipment in accordance with blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings and other written and verbal instructions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
- Service and refurbish hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment
- Take direction from senior mechanics
- Performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures
- Assemble basic equipment and products in accordance with standard operating procedures;
- Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
- Perform all necessary documentation in a timely manner
- Confer with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Provide assistance to more senior level Service Mechanics on larger jobs
- Working in a Fast Paced Team orientated Flexible Manufacturing environment
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and/or two to five years related experience.
