Material Support 1st Shift High Performance Schofield

General Summary:

Performs a variety of material handling duties including, but not limited to pulling, moving, counting and packaging material safely and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Locates and identifies the correct material to bring to the production line.

- Reports any concerns to lead such as quality concerns, miss counts, incorrect material.

- Insure all proper paperwork is made correctly.

- Ensures work area is accessible and safe for employees and customer traffic.

- Establishes efficient work flow based on product and task.

- Follows safe warehousing practices when pulling and staging material.

- Safely operates a forklift, four directional lift and overhead crane.

- Operates small hand tools including, but not limited to drill, punch, screwdriver, nail gun and/or chop saw as necessary.

- Efficiently uses packaging and other supplies and notifies the correct person when supplies run low.

- Properly wears required Personal Protective Equipment.

- Ensure Material is packaged to customer specifications.

- Performs other duties deemed necessary by lead and/or supervisor.

The position requires the ability to team lift, load and carry items weighing up to 150 pounds.
