Position Purpose
The primary responsibilities of this role include tracking lot numbers and coil counts, monitoring coil weights and quality control (QC) codes, and entering data into the system to create Unloader Logs as needed. The position also involves storing coils in the plant and maintaining ongoing communication with the Tagger. Additional duties may be assigned as required. All tasks must be performed with a strong emphasis on safety—for both the individual and others in the work area.
Physical Requirements•Frequent: Standing, walking, reaching more than 15 inches from the body, reaching above the shoulders
•Occasional: Sitting, pushing/pulling, fine motor use, lifting up to 10 lbs
•Minimal: Working below waist level, climbing, balancing, carrying, forceful motion, lifting up to 50 lbs
•Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, as outlined in the Job Analysis Database
What You Will Bring
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. If you do not have it, we will require that you enroll in our GED Works program
•Forklift certification or training
•Basic computer proficiency
•Strong basic math and communication skills
•Ability to follow and provide clear instructions
•Team-oriented with basic problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities
•Track lot numbers and coil counts
•Monitor QC codes and manage coil put-away
•Enter data into the system to generate Unloader Logs as needed
•Maintain consistent communication with the Tagger
•Complete all processes related to coil inventory and storage preparation
•Adhere to all safety guidelines and work procedures
•Comply with Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System protocols
