The Material Handler I under direct supervision, assists in bulk loading, material delivery/loading, & packing.
- Pay Rate: Up to $19.00/hour, depending on experience
- Assignment Length: 12-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines and observe all safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in loading barges, bulk trucks, and railcars with the requested grade and net weight. Load packaged materials and complete necessary paperwork accurately.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload flatbeds, railcars, trucks, and van trailers as required.
- Efficiently load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in material handling or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate a forklift is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
