Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Location: Pickens, SC, 29671
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler/Forklift Operator to safely operate various types of forklifts to move material in and out of our facility. The material being handled may include steel and other heavy items. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and a strong commitment to safety. Must be able to pass forklift training.

Good computer skills to record material received and shipped out.

Ability to load and upload trucks.
•
Attention to details.
•
Ability to read rulers/tape measures.
•
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•
Prior parts and warehouse experience
•
Ability to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
•
Ability to be very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
•
Excellent time management skills
•
Ability to work independently as well as a team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
•
High School Diploma or equivalent
•
1-2 years shipping and receiving experience.
•
1-2 years experience in a warehouse environment
Details:
•
Hours: 6 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. EST
•
Overtime as Needed
•
Monday through Friday
•
Pay: $18-20
•
Full Time, Non-Exempt
•
Eligible for Benefits on the first of the following month after 60 days of employment
