Summary:
A Material Handler is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and control of materials, products, and supplies within a warehouse, manufacturing plant, or distribution center. They ensure materials are properly received, stored, and delivered to their appropriate locations in a timely and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities:
•Load, unload, and move materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment
•Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or invoices
•Store materials in designated areas, following inventory control procedures
•Prepare and stage materials for production or shipment
•Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and material movements
•Perform routine cycle counts and report discrepancies
•Follow safety procedures and regulations when handling hazardous materials or operating machinery
•Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
•Assist in other warehouse or production duties as assigned
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent preferred
•Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus
•Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification may be required)
•Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and stand for long periods
•Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team-oriented environment

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
