The Material Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and managing the delivery cycle of raw materials (steel coil ), coordinating pick-up and shipment schedules, communicating with suppliers, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring smooth production flow. This role serves as the key point of contact between production, suppliers, and logistics teams.
- Monitor and track the delivery cycle of steel coils
- Schedule and coordinate the pick-up and shipment of rolls to ensure timely delivery.
- Act as the primary contact for the production team, providing real-time updates on material status.
- Communicate directly with slitting factories and suppliers via email (in English) for coordination and follow-up.
- Support post-delivery activities, including documentation and system updates, to ensure continuous and smooth production processes.
- Accurately record roll deliveries, shipments, and inventory changes.
- Collaborate closely with operations and logistics teams to promptly resolve any material delays or issues.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, especially in English and Mandarin.
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain coordination is preferred.
- Proficiency in record-keeping and using inventory or ERP systems.
- Ability to work proactively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
