You help keep track of all the stuff (materials and equipment) needed to build a power substation. You make sure it gets ordered, delivered, stored, and used properly.
- Order Stuff: Work with the team to figure out what materials are needed and help get them ordered.
- Track Deliveries: Keep an eye on what’s coming in and when. Make sure deliveries show up on time.
- Store Materials: Help unload and store materials safely at the site.
- Keep Records: Write down what comes in, what gets used, and what’s left.
- Talk to People: Work with suppliers, truck drivers, and the construction crew to keep things running smoothly.
- Check Quality: Make sure the materials are the right ones and not damaged.
- Stay Safe: Follow safety rules when handling and storing materials.
- Some experience working with materials or supplies (especially on construction sites).
- Basic computer skills (Excel, email, inventory software).
- Good at organizing and keeping track of things.
- Able to lift and move materials if needed.
- Comfortable working outside and around construction.
