Job Summary Description:
•Provides technical skills required of a Master licensed plumber for the installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of the plumbing systems and related accessories, to assist with management and operation of the facilities in a cost-effective manner.
•Performs master level, skilled plumbing work in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures, water leaks, gas leaks, sanitary and storm lines.
•Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
•Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and according to the standards of CGL Facility Management, OSHA, and our clients.
•Complete all required compliance, safety and developmental training as assigned.
•Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
•Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, showers, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals and dishwashers.
Essential Job Accountabilities:
•Install and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
•Read blueprints and design specifications to layout the plumbing system.
•Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.
•Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
•Master Plumber’s License, Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, (WSSC) Backflow Preventer Certified, and HAZMAT Certification (preferred).
•In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
•Strong problem-solving and management skills.
•Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
