Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and government properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Plumber will ensure that all plumbing installations meet local codes and regulations while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.

- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.

- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.

- Troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems and perform necessary repairs.

- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and electricians on remodeling projects.

- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area during all job assignments.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.

- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.

- Strong understanding of basic math concepts for measurements and calculations.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

- Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy materials.

- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
