The NGL Scheduler will be responsible for end-to-end scheduling of Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) including ethane, propane, butanes, and natural gasoline, across pipelines, rail, truck, and marine export channels. This role will also manage scheduling of LPG export cargoes, NGL purity product sales into Mont Belvieu storage accounts, and coordinate with counterparties, customers, and internal teams. The position requires a self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt quickly to market changes.
In addition to scheduling, this position will assist with invoicing, market analysis, financial modeling, and ad-hoc commercial projects, and PowerPoint slide decks. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required; Power BI and Allegro experience are a plus.
- Schedule daily, weekly, and monthly NGL movements via pipeline, rail, and truck.
- Coordinate and manage LPG export cargo scheduling, including vessel nominations, laytime tracking, and resolution of demurrage claims with counterparties.
- Schedule purity NGL sales into Mont Belvieu storage accounts and manage intra-month nomination changes.
- Monitor and communicate pipeline inventory, supply changes, and delivery issues with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Coordinate with counterparties, midstream operators, and internal operations to ensure timely and accurate nominations.
- Prepare and submit nominations for all relevant pipelines, terminals, and export facilities by required deadlines.
- Assist in invoice generation and reconciliation of scheduled vs. actual movements.
- Support market monitoring by tracking price changes, supply/demand trends, and storage balances.
- Prepare PowerPoint slides and Excel models for commercial meetings and executive updates.
- Contribute to financial modeling for optimization and commercial decision-making.
- Maintain scheduling trackers, daily status updates, and monthly reporting files.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, nomination deadlines, and quality requirements.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between scheduled and actual volumes.
- Maintain strong working relationships with schedulers, traders, and commercial managers.
- 1-3 years of NGL scheduling or related midstream experience preferred; LPG export scheduling experience a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite; familiarity with Power BI and Allegro strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Energy, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Knowledge of NGL fundamentals and product flows in the U.S.
- Prior experience in invoice generation, market analysis, and data visualization.
- Fast-paced, deadline-driven commercial environment.
- Must be available to respond to urgent scheduling issues during off-hours when necessary.
