The

Market Analyst

provides commodity market fundamentals, short/medium-term supply/demand analysis, and trader support for the Global supply and trading functions. In addition, this position will support ad hoc requests from Commercial Senior Management, Commercial groups, Chief Economist, and Investor Relations.

Responsibilities May Include

+ Developing and maintaining supply and demand models. This will involve working closely with trading to understand the market and trends, incorporate downtime, seasonal cycles, and macroeconomic variables, and utilize import/export data to ensure the models are accurate and accepted by trading. + Identify market anomalies and communicate to trading on what physical market and forward market changes might occur. + Performing actual and projected tariff analysis and alternate logistical cost comparisons.
