The company designs, engineers, and manufactures its products in-house, giving the accounting team direct visibility into operations, production costs, and financial decision-making.
- Hands-on exposure to cost and inventory accounting within a manufacturing environment.
- Direct collaboration with the Director of Finance and cross-departmental teams.
- Defined growth path — this role is intended to progress into an Assistant Controller position.

- Perform month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Assist with P&L analysis, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
- Manage fixed assets — additions, disposals, and depreciation tracking.
- Support cost accounting and inventory processes, working closely with production and operations teams.
- Assist with multi-state sales and use tax filings and compliance.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and credit applications.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and bank compliance reporting.
- Participate in audits and process improvement initiatives to strengthen internal controls.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency with Excel and experience using ERP/accounting systems (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
