New Product Development & Project Quality Support
•
Assist in implementing quality management activities during new product introduction (NPI), from prototype to mass production.
•
Participate in product testing, validation, and issue analysis.
•
Support preparation of quality-related documents such as Control Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and inspection instructions.
Manufacturing Quality Control
•
Conduct incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
•
Assist in root cause analysis and resolution of manufacturing defects using tools such as FMEA and 8D.
•
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns on the shop floor and drive corrective actions.
Supplier Quality Management
•
Assist in evaluating new suppliers and monitoring existing supplier performance.
•
Help track and follow up on supplier-related quality issues and corrective action plans.
•
Support the Quality Manager in reviewing and validating 8D reports from suppliers.
Documentation & Compliance
•
Help prepare and maintain PPAP documentation for customer approval.
•
Maintain accurate quality records and ensure documentation complies with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
•
Support internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement of the quality management system (QMS).
Customer & Team Support
•
Coordinate with customer representatives on product quality concerns as needed.
•
Provide technical support to internal teams and participate in training initiatives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
