Manufacturing Engineering Lead

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing processes and engineering principles, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency. This role requires expertise in various engineering tools and methodologies to enhance production capabilities within our manufacturing facility.

Duties

- Develop and apply best practices for tooling and process design.

- Provide technical expertise on manufacturing processes.

- Drive innovation by identifying new technologies to improve productivity, cost, and quality.

- Lead cross-functional projects to meet milestones and address technical challenges.

- Design and prepare tooling, jigs, and fixtures for efficient manufacturing.

- Support continuous improvement by implementing cost reduction and tooling enhancements.

- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.

- Utilize SolidWorks designing and modifying schematics and layouts.

Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with factory experience preferred.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, metal forming, and fabrication processes.

- Fixture design experience required.

- Proficiency in CAD software. Solid Works preferred.

- Leadership experience preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
