Position Summary

Infinium is seeking to fill a position at its Technology Center located at West Sacramento, CA as a Manufacturing Associate. This position requires the ability to manufacture catalyst in a timely fashion while maintaining a high level of quality. General knowledge of standard operating procedures, manufacturing methodologies and practices, or the ability to comprehend and apply these requirements is required.

The ideal candidate for this role will have earned a bachelor’s or associate degree in science or engineering. Candidates without a formal degree will also be considered based upon experience. Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years relevant industrial experience (lab or manufacturing setting). Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude. Knowledge or experience in tablet press, process scale manufacturing and SOP’s is highly desirable. Must be comfortable working with chemicals of large powder and liquid volumes.

The successful candidate should be familiar with both PC and Mac and fluent in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiarity and skill with JMP or LabVIEW is also desirable. Candidate will work with team of scientists, chemists and technicians. Overall, candidate should be safety oriented and organized.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

•

Performing and maintaining Infinium Operations catalyst production process.

•

Assembling and disassembling of a multistation tablet press.

•

Granulation, oscillation and milling of powders.

•

In-process characterization.

•

Maintaining batch records and SOP’s.

•

Ordering and receiving materials and supplies.

Physical Requirements

•

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

•

Prolonged periods standing at the production line, and/or heavy lifting.

•

Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, climbing stairs and ladders, and carrying boxes.
