Responsibilities may include:
•Dissemble binding to open rod bundles,
•Disperse rods amongst rack and determine if rods are viable for production (inspect rods for pitting, wear, bent and etc as per company procedures),
•Roll rods to machine, place coupling end to machine while stabilizing rods,
•Move rods down a production line, including pushing and pulling rods,
•Set up and operate equipment to remove couplings,
•Oversee or direct forklift operators to move and settle loads,
•Review and determine if rods are viable for further production,
•Complete proper paperwork at the end of each shift, if applicable,
•Must successfully pass all Company and customer safety test requirements,
•Must complete tasks in a timely manner,
•Dismantle, clean and store equipment after use, and
•Projects as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
Qualifications:
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Knowledge of oilfield related tools and equipment helpful
•Ability to follow direction
•Willingness to work in a team environment
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedures manuals
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure including whole numbers
Preferred:
•High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education.
Position requires the following:
•Work is performed indoor/outdoors in all weather conditions
•Meet the below physical standards without restrictions
Stand, Push, pull or lift rods (24 lbs to 50 lbs)
Walk, 1/3 to 2/3 rd of time
