Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven and experienced Associate Attorney with a focus on corporate business litigation and an existing portable book of business of approximately $250,000. This is a growth-oriented opportunity for an attorney who thrives in high-stakes commercial litigation, values autonomy, and is looking to join a collaborative, entrepreneurial legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Represent clients in complex corporate and commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, shareholder/partnership disputes, business torts, and regulatory investigations.

•

Independently manage cases from inception through resolution, including motion practice, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.

•

Serve as a strategic advisor to business clients, providing proactive legal counsel aligned with their operational and financial objectives.

•

Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to deliver exceptional service and results.

•

Maintain and grow existing client relationships while developing new business opportunities in corporate litigation and related practice areas.

•

Ensure compliance with ethical obligations, firm policies, and applicable rules of procedure and law.

Qualifications:

•

J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the [State] Bar.

•

5+ years of experience in corporate/commercial litigation, with proven case management and courtroom experience.

•

Portable book of business of at least $250,000 and a demonstrated ability to originate and retain clients.

•

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a strategic mindset and business-savvy approach to legal problem-solving.

•

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

•

Experience handling matters in both state and federal court; regulatory experience (SEC, FINRA, FTC, etc.) is a plus.
