Manager, Operations - Process

Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Operations Manager – Process.

General Description:

The Operations Manager reports to the Director, Operations – Process, and will support the daily O&M activities involving the safe and effective operation of the Venture Global Plaquemines production units. The Operations Manager is a pivotal leadership role within our organization, supporting the Director, Operations in executing strategic objectives and management of Operations programs and initiatives to meet the organization's goals. He / She further supports the Day and Shift Superintendents in tactical activities, including execution of operational and people management tasks and other functions as directed for successful operations. This position requires a self-motivated, dynamic and results-driven individual who can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including staff, community partners, and funding agencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing processes and structures in line with an emerging Operations framework, demonstrate maturity in personnel management, and financial oversight. He / She must be a Safety leader, able to demonstrate and drive a strong safety culture within the wider team, as well as operational ownership, accountability and discipline. Candidates must have exceptional communication and leadership skills, with an ability to navigate complex challenges while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment. The Operations Manager will assist in formulating policies, setting departmental objectives, and evaluating program outcomes. Additionally, they will lead special projects, facilitate staff development, and represent the organization at community events and meetings.
