Manager of Industrial Generator Rentals

Generator Source is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Industrial Generator Rentals to oversee our rental operations department. As the Manager of Industrial Generator Rentals, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our rental services, managing a team, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of coordinators, technicians, and support staff to ensure optimal performance and achievement of rental department goals.

Rental Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of the rental operations, including scheduling, inventory management, maintenance, and logistics to ensure efficient and timely delivery of generators to clients.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their power needs, providing expert advice on generator selection, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the rental process.

Business Development: Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion of rental services, develop strategies to attract new clients, and drive revenue growth through effective marketing and sales initiatives.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all rental equipment is well-maintained, thoroughly inspected, and in compliance with safety standards and regulations to guarantee reliable performance and customer satisfaction.

Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the rental department budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures to maximize profitability while delivering high-quality services.

Performance Analysis: Track key performance metrics, analyze rental trends, and generate reports to assess departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for employees and clients.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in rental operations management, preferably in the industrial equipment rental industry.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.

- Sound knowledge of industrial generators, power distribution systems, and related equipment.

- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards in the rental industry.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
