As a member of the Portage Power team, the Manager, Generation Engineering and Program Management is responsible for managing a team of project managers and engineers that support the operation of all generation facilities located in Canada and the United States. The Manager, Generation Engineering and Program Management leads the team in developing and administering comprehensive programs related to project development, capital project execution, and capital budgeting. The Manager, Generation Engineering and Program Management’s role with respect to project development involves the day-to-day business development activities, including but not limited to due diligence, permitting, technical advisory services and project management to support early and ongoing stages of investment planning. The Manager, Generation Engineering and Project Management is also responsible for the developing, implementing, and tracking of life-cycle management programs for all generating assets and ensuring regulatory compliance with elements such as US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission annual inspections and licensing programs, as well as dam safety and environmental requirements within Canada. The Manager, Generation Engineering and Program Management is also responsible to develop the multi-year CAPEX budget and support OPEX budgeting activities where required.
This is a management group opportunity and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
