# ROLE

# The Major Account Executive (Integration) is responsible for increasing the Company’s revenue by expanding and maintaining sales accounts from new and existing clients. The Account Executive will identify and qualify new accounts while nurturing existing accounts seeking the Company’s products and services. The Account Executive will work with sales channels to raise awareness of the Company’s offerings in order to increase market share and meet fiscal goals. The MAE(I) is responsible for overseeing accounts that fall under the Construction Specifications Institute Master-format Division 25 – Integration. Integration includes Building Automation Systems (BAS) as well as systems related to Smart Building Technology.

# This is a non-Technical position. Technical requirements are met through working closely with the Provident Automation Technical Team(s).


# RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Solicit new client accounts while developing and maintaining assigned clients

- Improve client utilization and product/service adoption rates

- Collaborate with the VP Sales and client contacts in order to define client needs and provide solutions

- Draft and revise sales proposals, pre-sales audit forms, and requests for contracts through collaboration with the Provident team and external parties

- Identify and target new business sales opportunities that close quickly for the highest revenue

- Promote and maintain the Company’s brand image within the marketplace

- Provide input and assist in the development of presentations and other marketing initiatives

- Create and conduct in-depth sales presentations in conjunction with the VP Sales

- Conduct and develop periodic account reviews in order to effectively manage account lifecycles while ensuring overall client satisfaction

- Attend conferences/events during and after business hours, as required, to promote and maintain company’s service offerings/brand

- Analyze, assess, and document client results to ensure client needs are being met

- Other duties as assigned to meet Company objectives.


REQUIREMENTS

- Post-secondary diploma or degree required

- Minimum 3 years’ of high performance in a B to B sales role

- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

- Strong consultative skills

- Able to assess client needs, develop proposals and deliver solutions

- Excellent negotiation skills and persuasiveness, with a high level of diplomacy and tact

- Ability to write clear and concise value proposition statements

- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills

- Ability to create and edit sales materials and presentations

- Ability to coordinate, organize and present product demonstrations and other events

- High level of proficiency with Customer Relationship Management software packages such as Salesforce

- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

- Able to work effectively in a team environment that is high stress and fast paced

- Familiarity with Building Automation Systems at a fundamental level


WORKING CONDITIONS

- Able to attend and conduct presentations/offers and off-site meetings

- Travel within & outside the GTA will occasionally be required using own vehicle

- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals

- Scheduling of client/business events outside of regular business hours as required

- Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required.
