The

Maintenance and Construction Technician, South Central Texas Midstream

constructs, removes, and maintains gas distribution facilities and equipment, including pipe, meter runs, and valves. The Technician can be based near one of a variety of facilities in the geographic area (including Goliad, Giddings, Giddings, Wilcox, Warda, and Three Rivers). The Technician will travel between sites (up to 30% of the time) based on business need.

Responsibilities May Include

Required Qualifications

+ Up to 30% travel from site to site with occasional overnight travel + Work overtime and weekends as needed + Work in both inside and outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity + Regularly get in and out of vehicles + Work around mechanical, industrial, and electrical equipment + Bend and move from ground level to higher levels, raising/lifting from ground level a load up to 50 lbs. + Manually transport a load up to 75 lbs. + Apply up to 100-foot pounds of torque + Move about equipment and work in confined areas, may work below grade + Wear special safety equipment while working; must be able to lift and put on emergency breathing apparatus and/or protective equipment + Use hand tools, power tools, and electronic diagnostic equipment + Read and understand equipment and repair manuals written in English

The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. Our capabilities include extensive natural gas gathering and processing operations, enhancing our wellhead-to-market strategy. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
