Maintenance Technician - Electrical

OVERALL, JOB PURPOSE:

Coordinates maintenance functions and activities required on plant production/facilities equipment and systems. Experience in CNC machine operations and preventive maintenance specific. Works from departmental controlled checklists when performing any planned maintenance under the direction of the dept supervisor.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITH MINIMAL ASSISTANCE:

1. Under direct supervision of the Dept. Supervisor performs planned maintenance on equipment and systems.

2. Participate in pre- and post-planned readiness of parts and tools, for planned maintenance activities.

3. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble of Equipment, parts and components.

4. Assist Manufacturing and Maintenance in cleaning of equipment.

5. May perform standard fabrication tasks.

6. Provide technical support on the following activities (WELDING, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, HYDRALICS, PNEUMATICS).

7. Perform standard preventive maintenance activities.

8. Build and modify jigs and/or manufacturing related fixtures.

9. Mentor co-workers by applying hands on knowledge.

10. Participate in Operational Excellence teams.

11. Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within job scope.

12. Responsible for all actions/responsibilities as required by the Plant Manager.

OTHER JOB DUTIES:

1. Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

2. In depth knowledge of the practices, tools, equipment, and materials used in the maintenance of manufacturing and facilities equipment.

3. Minimum 4 years of maintenance supervisory experience required; manufacturing experience required.

4. Advanced mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics skills. Fanuc system controls experience a plus.

5. Valid OK driver’s license.

6. OSHA standard understanding of lock out and tag out processes.

7. Follow all Company Safety protocols.

8. Ability to work any shift.

9. This is a working Supervisor role.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to ascend and descend ladders.

· Must be able to position one-self to work in confined spaces.

· Repeated bending, pulling, and pushing.

· Ability to safely carry hand tools and equipment.

· Ability to work in hot environments.

· Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
