Maintenance Supervisor - Weekend Shift - Up to $41.25/hr

Location: East Chicago, IN

Schedule: Full-time, On-site – Fri-Mon 6:45AM-5:15PM Pay: $32-40/hr depending on experience. Plus a $1.25/hr shift differential Position comes with $1,500 retention bonus

What You'll Do

This is a working supervisor role that will be working side by side with Mechanics, Welders, and Technicians. You will be there to supervise performance and train as needed.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

What You'll Need

High School Diploma or equivalent

3 to 5 years of mechanical experience

Ability to work independently and multi-task with little to minimal supervision

Ability to read equipment prints; secure information from OEM manuals; apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and read, understand and apply common operational documents, SOP’s, and training modules

Ability to drive a forklift

Must possess a basic set of tools

Must possess a valid driver's license

Successful completion of OSHA lock out/tag out and confined space entry training may be required

Successful completion HAZWOPPER training (provided during first week of employment)

Ability to work occasional overtime

Work Environment

100% on-site in an industrial, outdoor plant environment

You’ll be on your feet, working in elevated or tight spaces, and moving around the plant throughout your shift
