We are looking for a competent Maintenance Supervisor to manage the maintenance program in our facilities. You will be responsible for hiring and training staff and ensuring the smooth running of upkeep or repair operations.
An excellent maintenance supervisor must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. We’re looking for someone with technical skills and knowledge of various manufacturing processes. Leadership and knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling and preventative maintenance are also essential. We need a problem-solver and someone who works collaboratively with the leadership team.

- Inspect facilities frequently to determine problems and necessary maintenance
- Use Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to optimize key process equipment in the facility.
- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
- Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians
- Hire and supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance.
- Develop network of external specialists to support the facility.
- Inspect and maintain buildings and systems.
- Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance
- Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
- Develop write and run capital projects within the facility.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role with 5-6 years of applicable experience
- 4 years technical degree preferred, exceptional experience will be deemed to supersede this requirement
- Experience with high functioning preventative and predictive maintenance program and ability to lead this initiative within our organization.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment, creativity to adapt equipment from other industries into our production environment.
- Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and environmental regulations
