The Graymont Cricket Mountain Plant is seeking a well-organized, highly motivated individual for the position of Maintenance Supervisor. This individual will lead approximately 16 hourly employees across the stationary and electrical maintenance departments. The keys for success will be:

- A strong focus on safety, open/honest communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement in all aspects of both personal performance and maintenance excellence

- Ability to provide leadership and management of the operation to ensure safe, efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective maintenance activities

- Strong people and general management skills

- Experience in managing and preparing budgets and ability to monitor and control expenditure to ensure delivery of required equipment availability within budget

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure maintenance department adheres to the OneGraymont philosophy

- Ensure maintenance related projects are completed both on-time and on-budget

- Identify and execute potential efficiency improvements and cost saving opportunities

- Frequent communication with maintenance team to embed continuous improvement culture throughout the department

- Ensure performance expectations for employees are clear, monitored and managed

- Lead, coach, train and develop direct reports whilst building and maintaining a team working environment

- Maintain a strong and positive relationship with both federal and state regulatory agencies

QUALIFICATIONS

- BS in Engineering, technical degree, or equivalent experience

- Proven ability with project management from concept to completion (budgeting, documentation, support coordination, etc.)

- Experience in previous roles that demonstrates a strong commitment to health and safety issues

- Able to work independently and be self-motivated

- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and demands

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

- Knowledge of JD Edwards software package

- Knowledge of MSHA regulations
