As a Maintenance Manager, you will join our Irving Blending & Packaging team and coordinate the activities of the maintenance crew to ensure equipment runs efficiently. Your goal will be to maintain operational effectiveness while staying within budget and collaborating on capital projects with key stakeholders. Your success will contribute directly to the smooth functioning of our facility and the long-term growth of our operations.

Your Responsibilities:
•Ensure business reliability through managing all health, safety and environmental programs
•Coordinate, schedule & manage the day-to-day activities of the multi-disciplinary maintenance employees and outside contractors
•Assist in managing the Repair & Maintenance budget for the maintenance department and the areas it supports, including all maintenance inventory
•Maintain the Preventative Maintenance tracking system, evaluate incoming work orders, prioritize the work, ensure timely completion, track them as necessary
•Assist with the implementation of capital projects
•Assist with the identification of root causes following equipment failures and development of new maintenance tasks to eliminate re-occurrence, liaise with Operations and Planner/Scheduler on matters relating to equipment maintenance and availability
•Responsible for the Management of Change approval as functional reviewer, change originator and initial approval pending type of event, functional reviewer of all Process Safety Management procedures specific to the maintenance team
•Knowledgeable in current and potential practices and trends in the industry to develop strategies to increase profitability

Your Experience:
•Completed post-secondary education in Engineering or certified Trade program (University, Community College, or Trade School)
•3–5 years of experience in people leadership within manufacturing or industrial settings
•Familiarity with Preventative Maintenance Inventory systems is a valued asset
