About the Role
Maverick Power is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and reliability of equipment and facilities at our manufacturing sites. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a proactive approach to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
Duties & Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Repair:
•Perform regular maintenance inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure smooth operation and identify potential issues.
•Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures, diagnose faults, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
•Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance activities to maintain equipment reliability and extend operational life.
Project Management:
•Plan and manage maintenance projects, including equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications.
•Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair tasks.
•Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Continuous Improvement:
•Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
•Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies to optimize asset performance and reduce lifecycle costs.
Documentation and Reporting:
•Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repairs.
•Generate reports on maintenance KPIs, downtime analysis, and budget expenditures.
Safety and Compliance:
•Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements in all maintenance activities.
•Conduct safety inspections and promote a culture of safety among maintenance staff and across departments.
What You Bring
•Experience: Proven experience in maintenance engineering or related roles within a manufacturing environment.
•Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and maintenance management software is advantageous.
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

•Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

•Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
•Knowledge of low voltage switchgear or power distribution equipment is a plus.·

Physical Requirements
· Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at times.
Work Environment
May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
