Maintenance Engineer

JSW Steel USA is seeking to hire a Maintenance Engineer

to join our team!

Responsibilities:

- Familiar with OSHA safety standards and ensure safety procedures are followed.

- Assisting in provide up-to-date lockout and other safety procedures.

- Create or update QSOPs, as needed.

- Ensure that machinery, systems, infrastructure, and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime.

- Monitor daily maintenance activities in the plant, assist the Maintenance team as required.

- Help trouble shoot equipment issues of hydraulic, pneumatic, compressors and other rotational mechanical equipment.

- Initiate root cause analysis of major breakdowns and repeated failures.

- Conduct and oversee maintenance process audits.

- Plan and execute preventive maintenance.

- Evaluate operational systems and recommend design modification to eliminate cause of malfunctions and breakdowns.

- Provide vendors and suppliers with technical data required for service, procurement, and upgrades.

- Create item codes of spares and make requisitions for service and purchase using SAP.

- Keep track of spare consumption and re-order them when required.

- Setting and tracking maintenance KPIs.

- Establish maintenance procedures and practices.

- Work with maintenance manager and other executives to manage budgets.

- Collect delay and performance data and create presentations.

- Help with developing and executing new projects.

Requirements:

- An Bachelors degree in Mechanical or relative degree.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Must have good record keeping skills.

- Familiar with industrial procurement process.

- Data collection, analysis and creating presentations.

- Strong computer skills; such as, word, excel, PowerPoint and projects.

- Should be able to sketch, take measurements and create drawings from parts.

- Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.

- Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is preferred.
