Maintenance Director - Granite City, IL

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Maintenance Director Leads and directs all aspects of the facility maintenance department. This includes, but is not limited to,

+ Establishing robust preventive and predictive maintenance programs. + Scheduling all maintenance activities. + Leading / Coordinating / Performing equipment repairs. + Overseeing outside contractors. + Maintains records: Maintains records of repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties, and inspections.

+ Hires and trains new employees. + Schedule work crews. + Assign roles /responsibilities for staff.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THIS ROLE:

40% - Oversees maintenance operations: Manages the maintenance department, including the work crews, assigning responsibility and supervising staff.* 20% - Develops maintenance plans: Creates maintenance policies and procedures including how to meet or exceed OSHA and other agency requirements.* 10% - Ensures compliance: Ensures that all maintenance work complies with applicable safety, health and environmental regulations.* 10% - Coordinates Inspections: Coordinates inspections and audits as necessary.* 10% - Maintains Records: Maintains records of repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties and inspections.*
