Job Description:
As a Maintenance and Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing Aquafin's manufacturing warehouse operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that our facility remains in peak condition by handling routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and driving process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
•Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance tasks to ensure facility equipment and systems are in good working order. Address any mechanical, electrical, or structural issues promptly.
•Process Improvement: Analyze existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
•Safety & Compliance: Monitor the warehouse environment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Implement safety protocols and training as needed to minimize hazards and promote a safe working environment.
•Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, process changes, and safety inspections. Prepare and present reports on performance metrics, improvement initiatives, and facility conditions.
•Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and teams to coordinate maintenance activities, support production goals, and address any facility-related issues that may arise. Work closely with upper management team and third-party representatives to design and install upgraded equipment and facility improvements.
Qualifications:
•Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, process improvement, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
•Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems. Working knowledge of MS Office. Familiarity with PLC programming and Project Management Software is a plus.
•Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze complex processes, identify root causes of issues, and implement effective solutions.
•Safety Orientation: Understanding of OSHA standards and safety regulations, with a track record of promoting a safe working environment.
•Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
•Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dusty environment and capable of adapting to changing priorities and challenges.
•Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
