Machinist

About Us:

Wallace Electrical Systems LLC, a leading manufacturer of electrical power distribution equipment has an immediate full time opening for a machinist.

Machinist Requirements:

Associates Degree in Machining technology is preferred. Knowledge of conversational programming, Mastercam or Solidworks, Renishaw probing experience and tool and post probe experience is a plus. Candidate must have good communication skills, problem solving skills, working knowledge of mathematics; working knowledge of blue prints, experience with basic styles of measuring instruments and cutting tooling, such as proper use and basic sharpening procedures. The candidate must be a quick learner, possess the ability to adapt quickly to change, must be safety conscious and have the ability to work on all matters related to an electromagnetic motor shop. Drug screening required.

Machinist Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include horizontal boring mill set-up and operation; CNC programming set-up and operation; radial arm drill, mill, and lathe set-up and operation; read and understand blue prints, maintain company equipment, maintain a safe and clean work environment, and monitor accuracy of the work against specifications.
