Machine Shop Support 3rd shift

Schedule: 3rd shift, Sun-Thur, 10:30p-6:30a

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished.

+ Review manufacturing orders in order to verify internal and external customer specifications + Ensure all quality practices are being followed + Set up and run equipment in order to make modifications to aluminum parts + Inspect the parts as required to ensure the parts meet customer quality specifications + Ensure proper deburring, in order to guarantee that no burrs or sharp edges are on any parts + Inspect the parts to ensure that no nylon residue is left on the parts after running through the equipment + Ensure parts are assembled according to customer specifications + Accurately punch and stamp parts according to customer specifications + Package orders based on customer specifications + Meet delivery schedules to ensure customer service and satisfaction

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

+ High school diploma or equivalent degree + 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred + Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Ability to recognize safety concerns + A highly motivated self-starter + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Knowledgeable of deburring methods + Basic math skills + Ability to detect minor defects in the finish of the product + Ability to read blueprints and inspect parts according to customer specifications + Ability to utilize the proper inspection and measurement equipment + Ability to multi-task + Strong decision making skills + Ability to take part in continuous education and training BENEFITS

Starting wage: $17.00-$22.00 depending on experience.
