Machine Operator - Day Shift & Swing shift

Position: Machine/CNC Operator

Reports to: Supervisor/Plant Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly Rate Range: $22.00 to $26.00 $3.00 differential for swing shift

Shift: Day Shift & Swing Shift

Specific Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions

- Operate machines according to specifications.

- Accurately and proper feeds/speeds for material.

- Read drawings to machine various materials and parts.

- Set-up and run machinery within given programming requirements.

- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

- Understand shop tolerance and code requirements.

- Complete tasks in an acceptable timeframe and take pride in your work.

- Maintain a clean and safe work area.

- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Attention to details.

- Operate a variety of machine shop equipment, CNC, grinder.

- Can read and interpret blueprints.

- Can follow processes and procedures.

- Adaptable to different environments.

- Function effectively as part of a team.

- Clean pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

- Clean background screening that includes previous employment, education, criminal history and driving record verification.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

- Occasionally use of ladders and lifts, some climbing required.

- Position requires walking and standing the majority of the time.

- Occasional kneeling and stooping.

- Some lifting required less than 50lbs.

- Hours outside of scheduled shift will be necessary as workload dictates. This may include weekends.
