Job Duties:
•
Set up, program, and operate orbital welding equipment to perform high-quality welds.
•
Inspect materials and welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
•
Adhere to safety protocols and workplace best practices to prevent hazards.
•
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and team members to ensure precision and efficiency.
•
Perform quality control checks and documentation of welding work.
•
Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues.
•
Help develop designs for welding projects
•
Use a variety of tools and equipment
•
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding specifications; maintain and calibrate welding equipment to ensure optimal performance preferred but willing to train
Qualifications:
•
Read basic measuring devices.
•
Ability to work in high-precision environments and follow strict tolerances.
•
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•
Verbal and written communication and teamwork abilities.
•
Qualifications that are preferred:
•
Proficient in math.
•
Experience with cutting and forming tubing and other fittings.
•
Proficiency in orbital welding processes, techniques, and equipment operation.
•
Strong understanding of metallurgy, materials science, and welding symbols.

Working Conditions:
•
Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
•
Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
•
May involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
•
Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
