Job Overview

A.P Excavation and Landscaping is seeking a skilled Machine Operator with experience in landscaping equipment—particularly Bobcat skid steers and mini-excavators. The ideal candidate will play a key role in site preparation, grading, material handling, and installation tasks for residential and commercial landscape projects.

Responsibilities

•

Operate Bobcat skid steers, mini-excavators, and other landscaping machinery

•

Load and unload materials such as soil, mulch, stone, and equipment

•

Perform grading, trenching, and site preparation work

•

Assist with general landscaping duties as needed

•

Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment

•

Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times

•

Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications

•

Proven experience operating Bobcat equipment and similar machinery

•

Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus but not required)

•

Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability

•

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

•

Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail

•

Landscaping experience preferred but not required

•

Spanish/English preferred but not required
