Mechanical & Electrical Superintendent – Data Center Project (Reno, NV)

Location: Reno, NV

Project Duration: June 2025 – January 2026 (with expected extension)

Schedule: 5x10s

Per Diem: Paid 7 days/week

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical & Electrical Superintendent to support construction efforts on a high-profile data center project in Reno, Nevada. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all field activities related to mechanical and electrical scopes, ensuring quality execution, schedule adherence, and safe operations throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Key Responsibilities

•

Supervise daily field operations across mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical distribution, etc.).

•

Coordinate subcontractor performance, manage daily manpower, and ensure proper installation techniques per drawings and specifications.

•

Oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning activities in conjunction with QA/QC and engineering teams.

•

Monitor progress and participate in weekly scheduling meetings to drive production and resolve field constraints.

•

Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and site-specific HSE requirements.

•

Review MEP shop drawings and collaborate with the project team to address conflicts or design changes.

•

Work closely with project management, field engineers, and third-party vendors to deliver on quality, cost, and timeline expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

•

7+ years of superintendent experience with a focus on MEP systems.

•

Strong background in mission critical, data center, or commercial building construction.

•

Ability to read and interpret MEP plans, specs, and schedules.

•

Proven track record leading field teams and managing subcontractors.

•

OSHA 30 certification preferred.

•

Strong communication and leadership skills.
