We're seeking a strategic and results-driven Low Voltage Division Director to lead the operations and growth of our low voltage cabling division. This role combines team leadership, technical expertise, and business development savvy to drive project execution, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, experienced in network cabling and integrated systems, and confident in leading sales efforts, including identifying new business opportunities, bidding on RFPs, and closing profitable deals.
Key ResponsibilitiesDivision Operations & Leadership
•Lead daily operations for the low voltage division, including project planning, budgeting, staffing, and execution.
•Oversee installation of structured cabling, A/V systems, security/surveillance systems, and related technologies.
•Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are consistently met on all projects.
•Supervise and support field technicians, including training, mentoring, and acting as an escalation point when needed.
•Maintain accurate documentation, including as-built drawings, cable testing results, and inventory tracking.
Client Relationship Management
•Build and sustain long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders.
•Serve as a client-facing leader during project scoping, implementation, and close-out.
•Respond to customer inquiries and issues with a high level of professionalism and urgency.
Sales, RFPs & Business Development
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and market research.
•Lead the pursuit and preparation of RFPs, including scope review, pricing strategy, and proposal development.
•Maintain a sales pipeline and accurate forecasting of upcoming projects.
•Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and site visits to promote services and capabilities.
Financial & Administrative
•Own the divisions budget and profitability, aligning project costs with financial goals.
•Complete project invoicing, track billing cycles, and support the finance team in accurate reporting.
•Oversee procurement processes and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
•5+ years of experience in low voltage systems, structured cabling, or related fields.
•Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing projects, and developing business.
•Valid drivers license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
•BICSI RCDD Certification (required).
•Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
