Logistics Supervisor

Logistics Supervisor Texas Iron and Metal – Houston, TX

Texas Iron and Metal is seeking a driven Logistics Supervisor to lead and coordinate our shipping and delivery operations. This role is responsible for managing drivers, scheduling deliveries, optimizing routes, and ensuring materials are delivered safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, experience in logistics or transportation management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily shipping and delivery operations

- Manage and schedule drivers, equipment, and loads

- Ensure on-time, accurate, and safe deliveries

- Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to meet customer needs

- Track logistics performance and recommend improvements

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of logistics, dispatch, or supervisory experience

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Knowledge of DOT and safety regulations

- Experience in the metals or industrial distribution industry preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
