Load Management Technician

Job Summary:

As a Load Management Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial electrical systems, HVAC systems, and automatic generators. You’ll work directly with REA members to support the cooperative’s Load Management Program and play a critical role in ensuring efficient energy use and reliable service.

Responsibilities:

· Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical and HVAC systems

· Install and service automatic generators

· Work with REA members on load management system setups and maintenance

· Troubleshoot and repair commercial motor control systems

· Comply with all safety policies and procedures

· Participate in scheduled and emergency on-call rotations

Qualifications:

· Experience in residential/commercial electrical contracting or HVAC

· Associate degree or technical training in Maintenance Electricity, HVAC Technology, or similar is preferred.

· Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and Uniform Construction Code

· Proficient in commercial motor control wiring and troubleshooting

· Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license

· Universal EPA Certification (or ability to obtain)

· Willingness to relocate within 30 minutes of the Indiana, PA office (if needed)

· Basic computer skills

· CPR and First Aid knowledge

Pay: $22.43 - $32.06 per hour
