Line Technician (Hiring up to First Class Line Technician) - Whiteville

Hiring up to First Class Line Technician. Hiring level determined based on evaluation of experience (see experience requirements below)

Duties up to and including the following contingent on hiring level

Position Purpose:

Perform duties to independently carry out all line crew activities. Continue to receive refresher and new skill training, while providing instruction and guidance to the Line Technician Apprentice and Second Class Line Technician levels.

Essential Functions:

Independently performs all types of underground/overhead line duties under direction of the Line Supervisor, while training and coordinating work of other technicians.

Perform staking and line layout duties as assigned.

Follow safety standards and ensure that other crew members are aware of and are following safety rules and procedures.

Other Duties:

Experience Requirements:

First Class Line Technician: 5-7 years

Second Class Line Technician: 3-4 years

Apprentice Line Technician III: 2-3 years

Apprentice Line Technician II: 1 year
