Line Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a Production Line Operator to join our team in a manufacturing facility. The Production Line Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery on the assembly line to fabricate and assemble products efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Monitors product and packaging quality to assure company and customer standards are met.

- Makes all necessary machine adjustments to consistently produce products within quality specifications at or above productivity targets.

- Actively operates in all manual packaging activities according to requirements and specifications.

- Ensures proper production line set-up and operation to manufacture products per specifications.

- Performs efficient set-ups, changeovers, and start-ups.

- Coordinates / communicates troubleshooting efforts with team members, supervision, quality assurance, and maintenance.

- Performs preventative maintenance tasks as required.

- Always maintains appropriate levels of correct materials on the line.

- Ensures proper labeling and identification of all materials, raw, WIP, and finished goods.

- Performs all required quality checks and operates testing equipment per procedure.

- Has experience and operates forklifts to supply production materials and move finished goods to warehouse.

- Completes all necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

- Maintains, controls, and operates machines and equipment that are used in the manufacturing process according to requirements and specifications.

- Strictly follows safety regulations and always wears the specified PPE.

Requirements

- Mechanical knowledge to operate various types of machinery

- Experience with power tools and hand tools

- Ability to use forklifts for material handling tasks

- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting production goals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
