We are seeking an experienced Light Commercial HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in installing light commercial HVAC systems and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. This role will focus on the installation, replacement, and start-up of HVAC systems for light commercial projects in the Charleston area.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Install, replace, and start up light commercial HVAC systems, including ductwork, furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation systems.

•

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals to ensure proper installation of systems.

•

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

•

Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and to customer specifications.

•

Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and clients.

•

Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.

•

Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

•

Minimum of 2 years of experience in light commercial HVAC installation.

•

Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling.

•

Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, and components.

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

•

Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

•

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (e.g., outdoors, rooftops, confined spaces).

•

You may have held other positions previously such as sheet metal mechanic, HVAC service technician, sheet metal helper, etc
