The Lease and Title Analyst performs a key role in analyzing all leases, assignments and other documents related to the Land Department.

:
- Analyze, interpret, and maintain oil and gas leases and contracts for operated and non-operated properties.
- Analyze oil and gas leases, easements, and other Land related documents and input related information into in PakLand (PakEnergy).
- Manage monthly general Land obligations such as rentals, expirations, and minimum royalties, and process payments using E-Calendars and Payment Modules within PakLand.
- Communicate with partners on non-operated properties to verify payment of obligations and obtain necessary information for maintenance of those properties.
- Review and update leasehold and wellbore statuses for the weekly distribution of the Shut-In Report.
- Determine working interests and burdens associated with interests based on title analysis of deeds, assignments, purchase and sale agreements, probate documents, leases, and royalty agreements.
- Act as liaison between Accounting, Land, and Division Orders departments as needed.
- Assist with Acquisition due diligence and/or divestiture processes

- Conduct title research to verify ownership interests and prepare ownership reports.
- Set up, maintain and research Land, Lease, Unit, and Miscellaneous files as required.
- Accurately identify and document the company’s interests, detailing both acreage and percentage of ownership across all applicable properties.
- Research and respond to incoming regulatory items for assigned states.
- Prepare Exhibits for Assignments, Term Assignments, Farmout Agreements, or special projects when requested.
- Provide support across all phases of work within the Land Department and carry out any additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Three (3) plus+ years of Land administrative experience in maintaining oil and gas lease records and title research strongly preferred, but not required.
- Business related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of oil, gas and mineral leases and Land related functions.
- Prior experience with Oil and Gas data analytics is desired.
- Strong analytical skills.

- Previous experience with internal process improvement initiatives desired.
- Administratively proficient with ability to manage time, priorities, and objectives effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Previous GIS Mapping experience desired, but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience utilizing Land related software to include PakEnergy, PakLand (previously known as LandVantage), Enverus, and/or AI software is desired.
- Experience working with Indian, State, and Federal Leases in Oklahoma and New Mexico.
- Ability to multitask and work multiple, diverse projects effectively.
- Well-developed organization skills and proficient in oral and written communication.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment in performance of job responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision.
