Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lease Operator to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in construction site operations, particularly in horizontal drilling and pipeline management. As a Lease Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of oil and gas production, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining equipment functionality.
Responsibilities
•
Operate and monitor oil and gas production equipment on-site.
•
Conduct regular inspections of pipelines, tanks, and associated facilities to ensure optimal performance.
•
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including cranes and forklifts.
•
Adhere to OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
•
Collaborate with construction teams during drilling operations to ensure project timelines are met.
•
Document production data accurately and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
•
Assist in the transportation of materials using tankers as needed.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly as a Lease Operator or similar role.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
•
Familiarity with construction site operations, including horizontal drilling techniques.
•
Valid certifications related to OSHA standards preferred.
•
Experience operating cranes and forklifts is advantageous.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
•
Have a valid Driver's License and able to Operate a Company Truck
