The Lead Service Specialist will work at the Houston Aero-derivative gas turbine engines Service Center. This role will help support Gate 1 with in-house maintenance, tooling support, calibration of tools, process improvements and various other activities directed by Gate 1 leader.
- Align responsibilities/day to day duties with shop needs and engage the floor with process improvements
- Collaborate closely with technicians, shop ops, and other key stakeholders to ensure project buy-in and execute
- Create & maintain a list of priorities based on defined projects & initiatives
- Set up and maintain inventory of parts & tooling as needed to support Gate 1
- Ensure all projects remain within compliance of EHS and Quality policies
- Demonstrated ability to drive and execute projects to completion
- Maintain inventory of Gate 1 tooling
- Perform repair maintenance as needed
- Set up workstation layouts and tooling display for various modules
- Perform other related duties as requested/assigned by Gate 1 Leader

- Collaborate closely with ops teams and cross-functions to address specific Tooling related and manufacturing processes that need to be improved- Associate's degree from an accredited college/university OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of technical experience supporting a shop floor as a turbine tech or other support function.
- Experience with Gas Turbine engines, preferably aircraft or aero derivatives
- Aircraft and Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant License
- Strong computer skills, and proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
