LED Lighting Crew Lead

Energy Select is seeking a lead installer who will be in charge of a team to install LED lighting. We are a SMECO certified contractor in St. Mary's, Calvert, and Charles County.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead LED Lighting Installer to join our installation team. The Lead Installer will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing the installation of LED lighting systems at various customer locations. As the team leader, you will manage a small team, install and wire lights, troubleshoot any issues that arise on the job site, and communicate with our lighting manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of LED lighting installers in the efficient and timely installation of LED lighting systems, both indoors and outdoors.

- Discipline and direct team as needed to ensure job efficiency

- Install and wire LED lighting fixtures, controls, and related equipment, adhering to safety protocols and industry best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues that arise during projects.

- Conduct quality inspections to ensure installations meet company standards and client expectations.

- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements and Skill Sets:

- Knowledge of LED lighting systems, fixtures, controls, and installation techniques or applicable electrical knowledge

- Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: ladders and wires

- Ability to work in all environments

- Capable of working at heights

- Experience with, and possession of, basic hand and power tools

- Must have adequate customer service skills

- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

- Must be able to pass criminal background check

- Able to drive to anywhere in SMECO region

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
